The National Center for Child Death Review (NCCDR) is a resource center for state and local programs to prevent and reduce the causes of child fatalities. One of the member agencies benefiting from this funding is the Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI). The NCCDR collects data on child deaths in a database using ASP.net technologies. The MPHI needed over 30 new reports to help identify significant risk factors or patterns in child injury and safety problems.
A.J. Boggs developed a web-based reporting system using Crystal Reports v11 and ASP.net. The solution provided a flexible architecture that easily integrated into the existing site. Custom Crystal Reports were implemented with dynamic menu-driven structures.
